Ingredients: vegetable oil, and salt for boiling the pasta; 1 package spaghetti; 200 grams bacon, finely chopped; 2 cloves garlic, chopped; 1/4 red onions, finely chopped; 1/2 kilos medium-sized shrimp, washed and butterflied; cognac, or brandy for flambéing; 1/2 sticks butter; parsley, finely chopped for garnish

Heat the water and when it boils, add the spaghetti with the oil and salt. Drain very well. In a hot skillet, add the bacon and fry until lightly browned; add the garlic, onion, and shrimp for 5 minutes or until cooked.
