This coleslaw is an excellent garnish to accompany dishes such as fried chicken, breaded fish or beef milanesa. This cabbage salad, in addition to being easy to make, is delicious and addictive.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups White cabbage, grated
  • 2 cups carrot
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

With the help of a cheese grater, grate the white cabbage and try to drain the natural juice that comes out when doing it. Repeat this process with the carrot.
In a bowl, mix the cabbage with the carrot, onion, plain yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, white vinegar and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve as a garnish for fried chicken.

TIPS

You can substitute mayonnaise for sour cream. Remember to refrigerate the salad before use.
