Preparation
In a pot, boil the water and cook the guavas for 15 minutes and reserve.
When the guavas are soft with a wooden spoon remove the seeds; Blend together with the sugar and a cup of the water until it looks like a puree. Reservation.
In a small pot add the puree and cook over low heat for 30 minutes without stopping moving. Add the jam to the jar while it is still hot so it will keep longer.
Enjoy the jam with a slice of toast and cream cheese.
