Preparation
For the dough, in a bowl mix the wheat flour with the lard, the salt, the baking powder and add the water little by little, until forming a smooth mass. Rest the dough around 20 minutes.
Cut the tortilla dough into equal portions and form balls with your hands.
With the help of a floured rolling pin, spread the ball until it forms a thin tortilla.
Heat a comal over medium heat and cook the tortilla 1 minute on each side. Cook the tortilla until it inflates, remove it from the comal and enjoy it warmly.
