It's a delicious dish for dinner, it's very common here in Nuevo León, and it tastes delicious! It's really easy to prepare. No need for a steakhouse.

  • 4 potatoes, big
  • 450 grams butter, (the one you like most)
  • 100 milliliters sour cream
  • 300 grams asadero cheese, grated
  • 400 grams beef, to roast
  • 300 grams bacon


The potatoes are washed very well. And cut in half, to boil with a tablespoon of salt and pepper, 30 to 40 minutes over low heat (potatoes should be very well cooked, and very soft, without becoming pure). We must brown the bacon and leave it very crispy to be able to shred with your fingers.
We have to make some aluminum pansies to put the potatoes there, that will be our main course. Or they can be put in the pancakes that they sell in stores.
For the passage of the meat, we can season it and cook it in our comal, or we can go to the taqueria on the corner and buy it ready. To season the meat, it is to taste, I recommend the seasoning of: "The relative, lemon fajita" we only put it in the meat and ready.
Once our potatoes are ready, we drain them and we go to the charolitas, we put 1 half and we add butter (to taste), and then the other half and put butter back. We can chop the potatoes with the spoon that we are putting the butter so it will melt easier and soon.
Now we put the cheese asadero, it must cover all the potato, and then we put the cream, the bacon and the pepper. And on top of all this we put the meat.
Since the tray was made, and everything was ready, we can put it in the wick of the stove over low heat, in order to warm the dish a little. *** This is to the taste of the diner.


The most traditional is in the aluminum trays, and a bottom plate.


1.- The only thing we can beat, are the potatoes with the butter, since these go down everything and you have to mix it so that it melts. 2 .- The cheese, cream, bacon, pepper and meat, as well as remain in the moment.
