Mashed Potatoes with Cheese, Seeds and Spices

This mashed potato is a unique recipe that combines different flavors. Since it is not an ordinary purée; seeds such as sesame seeds and sunflower seeds are added to give it a crispy touch. Also it carries blueberries and a mixture of spices, that will conquer your palate. And we can not forget the cheese that when grilled gives it moisture and a perfect texture. Do not stop trying!

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/2 kilos potato
  • 45 grams butter
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 2 slices Ham
  • 3 slices manchego cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted
  • 3 tablespoons cranberry
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seed, toasts
  • to taste cardamom
  • to taste nutmeg
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

Cook the potatoes until they melt.
Remove them from water and mash them until there are no pieces.
Add milk and butter to the mixture and add them.
Chop cheese and ham into squares. Add the seeds, blueberries, spices, salt and pepper.
Heat in a Teflon pan for a few minutes so that the cheese gratin.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with salmon or a cut lean meat and some asparagus.

TIPS

You can leave the husks of the potatoes.
