Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, in grain
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and cut in halves along
  • 1 1/2 cups wine vinegar

Preparation

Peel the onion, break it in the middle and then cut it into medium thin feather.
In a bowl, mix the salt, sugar and onion together, add a couple of tablespoons of water and let stand until the onion releases a little of its liquid, about 15 minutes.
Place in a glass jar with the peppercorns, oregano, cumin, cloves and garlic, and then pour the vinegar.
Cover and take to the refrigerator at least 4 to 6 hours before use, so that the preparation absorbs the aromas of the species.

PRESENTATION

Place on a plate and each diner is served to taste, do not forget that not all are lovers of food with so many contrasts.
