Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 cups Water
  • 2 cups chickpea, previously hydrated for a whole night
  • 1 tablespoon vegetal oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomtato, in medium cubes
  • 1/2 cups carrot, in medium cubes
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili flake
  • 2 cups spinach, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 cups Water, hot
  • 2 cubes Knorr® 100% Natural Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cups panela cheese, diced, for garnish

Preparation

Cook the previously hydrated chickpea in a pot with the water for 35 minutes or until it becomes soft. Drain. Chill and reserve.
In a saucepan, heat the oil, sauté the onion and garlic. Add the tomato, carrot, oregano and chili flake; mix and cook until colors intensify.
Add the chickpea, spinach, parsley and hot water. Incorporate the cube of Knorr® 100% Natural Chicken Broth and mix until dissolved. Boil and remove from heat.
Serve hot. Decorate with panela cheese.

PRESENTATION

Serve hot and decorate with cubed panela cheese.

TIPS

Dried chickpea is an ideal option to always keep in your cupboard, so place your chickpeas in a container with a lid that closes perfectly to avoid moisture and protect them from light. Soak them in water overnight before cooking, melt the soaking water and cook with warm water for perfect cooking.
