Cold Soup from Melon to Yoghurt

Ingredients

1 portion
  • 1 cantaloupe
  • 300 milliliters natural yogurt, sugarfree
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 cup chicken soup, defatted
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon vegetal oil
  • salt, and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Heat the chicken broth in a pot and add the curry. Let cook until it boils and remove from heat. Reservation.
Grind half seedless melon with water and strain to obtain a thick but smooth mixture.
Add the yoghurt to the curry and melon mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate

PRESENTATION

Use the other half melon without seeds. Serve cold with chopped pieces of melon and corn tortillas a little fried as garnish.

TIPS

To degrease the chicken broth: prepare the chicken broth and let cool. Go to the refrigerator. The next day, remove the layer of fat that accumulates on the top.
