This recipe is a delicious shrimp and octopus broth for you to enjoy with all your family and friends. It is a delicious recipe for seafood to change the flavor of your usual soups and try new things, always keeping the healthy within the essentials

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 liters of Water
  • 1 kilo of octopus in pieces of 2.5 cm
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 Cup of carrot chopped
  • 2 cups of celery chopped
  • 2 potatoes cut in cubes
  • 1/2 Cup of pasilla chili pepper dry and crushed
  • 1/2 Cup of onion chopped or to taste
  • 1 Cup of tomato chopped
  • 650 grams of shrimp raw (unpeeled)
  • 1 Cup of corn fresh (optional)
  • to taste of Salt

    Preparation

    Boil the water in a large pot over medium-high heat.
    Add the octopus and let it continue boiling for 20 minutes.
    While the octopus is cooking , heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add the carrots, celery, potatoes and chile pasilla.
    Fry for 15 minutes and add the onion and tomato almost at the end.
    The ingredients do not need to be fully cooked.
    Once the octopus has boiled for 20 minutes, add the shrimp and boil for 5 minutes.
    Add the vegetables in the pan and season with salt to your liking.
    If you decide to use the corn, add to the pot along with the shrimp.
    Cook all ingredients over low heat for 15 minutes.
