Step by Step

Paso 1
1
Preferably, cook your vegetables in an enamel pot, as this material maintains an ideal state for our vegetables, or in a glass pot. Do not add more water than necessary.
Paso 2
2
Do not add the vegetables you are going to cook until the water is boiling; once you submerge them, lower the heat and cover. Do not leave them in the water longer than necessary, as nutrients will be lost.
Paso 3
3
Add a pinch of salt to the water. You can also add a splash of vinegar or a few drops of lemon.
Paso 4
4
Done! You will see how your vegetables will now retain their color better. Use the leftover water to cook a soup or a cream, as some of the nutrients will still be present there.
