Obela, with a strong presence in the United States, Australia, and Mexico, has been characterized by being the answer to the demand for healthy and delicious food in the market. At Obela, they know that hummus is one of the most versatile ingredients in the world, and these recipes, suggested by the Obela group itself, demonstrate what a little hummus and a lot of imagination can achieve.  

1.- Pineapple with Obela

Ingredients 220 g of Obela Classic Hummus 25 peeled triangles of pineapple 25 dried blueberries Preparation Once you have the peeled pineapple triangles, about 1 centimeter thick, use chef's gloves to add a generous amount of hummus on each piece of pineapple. Decorate each one with a blueberry and enjoy; it's a fresh and perfect snack for hot days.  

2.- Watermelons with Obela

Ingredients 220 g of Obela Classic Hummus 25 peeled triangles of watermelon 25 walnuts or dried peaches Preparation Once you have the peeled watermelon triangles, about 1 centimeter thick, use chef's gloves to add a generous amount of hummus on each piece of watermelon. Decorate each one with a walnut or peach (or both). It's an ideal snack for gatherings and can even work as a dessert for coffee and tea.  

3.- Tuna Tapas

Ingredients 220 g of Obela Roasted Capsicum Hummus 400 g of tuna 14 grated cherry tomatoes 25 parsley leaves 25 slices of baguette Preparation Spread a generous portion of hummus on each slice of bread. Then, place a large spoonful of tuna on each piece of bread, followed by two slices of cherry tomato. Finally, just decorate each tapa with a parsley leaf.  

4.- Obela Nachos

Ingredients 15 cm fried pita bread until crispy 2 tablespoons of Obela Savory Garlic Hummus 2 tablespoons of Obela Roasted Capsicum Hummus 10 cherry tomatoes cut in half ¼ cup of diced zucchini 2 tablespoons of Greek black olives 2 tablespoons of roasted red peppers 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese Preparation Preheat the oven to 190ºC. Cut the pita bread into rectangles or triangles and place them on a baking sheet, then add the hummus. Sprinkle the tomato, zucchini, olives, and pepper freely over the pita, and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts and begins to brown. Serve hot and enjoy.  

5.- Mini Sandwiches

Ingredients 220 g of Obela Roasted Capsicum Hummus 6 thin slices of turkey ham 6 slices of tomato 6 slices of cheese (your choice) 6 small washed and dried lettuce leaves 12 slices of avocado 12 slices of whole grain bread Preparation Spread each slice of bread with a generous amount of hummus. Layer each of the sliced ingredients, finishing with the avocado. Top the sandwich with another slice of bread. Cut each sandwich into four if you prefer them as canapés. Enjoy.
