These brownies are delicious and very original for Christmas as they have a Santa Claus hat made with a strawberry, it's a simple yet very original touch. This recipe is contributed by the H-E-B chefs.

Ingredients

120 Grams of Dark Chocolate
180 Grams of Unsalted Butter
4 Hill Country Fare Eggs
2 Cups of Hill Country Fare Sugar
2 Tablespoons of H-E-B Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups of Economax Flour
1 Cup of Chopped Nuts (optional)
Whipped Cream
Whole Strawberries

Preparation Method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (350 F).
Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
In a mixer, put the eggs and beat until they are a pale yellow color. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until thickened. Add the vanilla, sifted flour, and chopped nuts. Finally, add the chocolate (warm, not hot).
Place the mixture in a greased and floured 8x12 cm baking dish.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the mold.

Presentation

Cut into squares and place a circle of whipped cream on top of each square. Then place a whole strawberry and decorate the tip with whipped cream using a star-shaped piping tip to resemble a Santa Claus hat.
