Ingredients

65 portions
  • 2 kilos flour
  • 2 kilos whole wheat flour
  • 1 kilo sugar
  • 1/3 cups cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons yeast powder
  • 1/4 cups liquid vanilla
  • 200 grams yeast, cool
  • 1 kilo vegetable shortening
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/2 liters milk

Preparation

Everything dry and yeast is added, the butter is added integrating it very well.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk, looking for a soft dough.
It is left to rest until it grows.
They form small balls of bread, knead twice to make a thick and small tortilla. The center is punctured with a fork.
Put in greased molds, bake at 180 degrees C. around 25 to 30 min.

PRESENTATION

Place several loaves and arrange them in a rustic bread basket.

TIPS

You can use a wood oven to give it a more rustic flavor.

esta receta es deliciosa y muy tradicional en Galeana Nuevo León y es excelente para el tiempo de invierno, yo le añado nuez y frutos secos y también queda, deliciosa.
