Pamper your family with this delicious recipe for Spanish Tortilla with Egg Whites. This dish is prepared with beaten egg and then fried. It is one of the most classic easy recipes in Spain. In addition, it is considered a low calorie recipe.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 480 grams San Juan® Egg White
  • 60 grams white onion
  • 12 asparagus
  • enough box bread, toasted
  • enough oil
  • enough potato, cooked
  • enough salt and pepper

Preparation

Place oil in a hot pan to fry the onion. Add the egg whites previously beaten and season with salt and pepper. Let it cook until it forms a kind of tortilla.
Cut the base of the asparagus (2 cm approx.) and grill in a pan with salt and pepper. Remove when golden brown.
Fry the pieces of bread, and once toasted, flatten and trim the crusts. Split in half, in a triangular manner.

PRESENTATION

Serve on an extended dish and serve with asparagus and toasted bread on each end.

TIPS

You can prepare the Tortilla also in the Oven. Then the cooking can be more uniform.
