For the dough: Sift all the dry ingredients: flour and salt. Combine with the lard and crumble it with your fingers until it resembles a sandy consistency. Pour in the beer and form a smooth dough. Fry the chorizo and let it cool. If we don't want to fill our empanadas with chorizo, we can make our filling at this moment. It can even be something sweet like jam.
