Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 Cup of cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 3/4 of Cup of powder sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • 3/4 of Cup of Butter at room temperature
  • 2 pieces of egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of lemon zest
  • 1 Cup of dulce de leche (caramel)
  • 1 Cup of grated coconut

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    Pass the corn starch, the flour, the icing sugar and the baking soda through a colander. Reservation.
    Beat the butter with the yolks until integrating add the essence of vanilla, lemon zest.
    Add the powders, beat until you get a homogeneous and smooth mass. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
    Spread the dough on a floured surface until it reaches a thickness of 5 m, cut circles of 5 cm in diameter. Place on a tray, refrigerate 30 minutes and bake for 15 minutes.
    Place the dulce de leche in a pastry sleeve with a curly duya.
    Add dulce de leche over a gingerbread, place another gingerbread on top.
    Sprinkle the grated coconut around.

    PRESENTATION

    On a dessert plate, accompanied with coffee.

    TIPS

    You can substitute dulce de leche for cajeta.
