Ingredients

12 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 cups Maizena® Regular Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 200 grams Margarina Primavera® Salt-Free Cooking
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 cups cajeta - Mexican carmelized goat milk sweet

Preparation

Sift flour with Maizena® Regular Cornstarch, baking soda and baking powder. Reserve.
Beat the Margarine Primavera® Cook with the sugar until cream, add the yolks little by little and beat until incorporated.
Add vanilla and lemon zest; Mix until incorporated.
Add the mixture of dry ingredients little by little and beat until integrating.
Spread the dough on a floured board and cut out cookies approximately 8 cm in diameter.
Place them in a previously greased tray and bake at 170 ° C for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Once cold, form the alfajores joining two with a little cajeta in the middle.
To serve.
