Tiramisu is a very popular dessert in Italy, but with this Banana Tiramisu recipe, we put a twist on the traditional sponge cake and cream flavor. Follow the step by step and prepare a dessert out of the ordinary, but simple to make and with easy-to-find ingredients. Banana combines very well with the subtlety of mascarpone cheese and this dessert is a different option, even when you have a muffin that you have not consumed.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, for the cake 150 g
  • 1 cup sugar, for the pancake 200 g
  • 5 eggs, for the muffin
  • 3 1/2 cups flour, for the pancake 455 g
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, for the muffin
  • 1 teaspoon salt, for the muffin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the muffin
  • 1 1/2 cups banana's mashed, for the muffin
  • 1/4 cups 43 liqueur, for the muffin
  • 1 1/2 cups banana's mashed, for the muffin
  • 1 cup walnut, for the cake 100 g
  • 3 cups mascarpone cheese, for the filling
  • 1/2 cups greek yogurt, for the filling 116 g
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for the filling 140 g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the filling
  • 2 cups Water, hot
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 3 tablespoons liqueur coffee
  • enough banana, sliced for garnish
  • enough sugar, to decorate
  • enough cocoa powder, to decorate

Preparation

For the muffin, cream the butter and sugar until it changes color; add the eggs one by one until they are incorporated; Add the flour, the baking powder, the salt, the vanilla essence and the banana, incorporate perfectly and bake for 50 minutes, approximately, at 175 ° C. Reservation.
For the filling, mix the mascarpone cheese together with the banana, the yogurt, the icing sugar, the vanilla essence and the 43 liqueur, until completely incorporated.
For the coffee mixture, in a bowl dilute the soluble coffee with water, add coffee liqueur and mix.
To assemble, cut the banana muffin and arrange it on a baking dish, bathe with the coffee mixture, place a white layer of cheese and repeat until finished. Refrigerate for an hour. Meanwhile, cut banana slices, frost with sugar and flame; garnish with cocoa and flambé slices.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with cocoa and flambéed banana slices.

TIPS

Square the pancake well to fit in the pan and refrigerate long enough for easy unmolding.
