Ingredients

  • 3 cups of chocolate chip cookie for the crust
  • 1 1/2 cups of Butter for the crust
  • 3 spoonfuls of cocoa for the crust
  • 500 grams of cream cheese for the cheesecake (at room temperature)
  • 1 Cup of sugar for the cheesecake
  • 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream for the cheesecake
  • 2 pieces of egg for the cheesecake, at room temperature
  • 1 Cup of dark chocolate melted, for the cheesecake
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla essence for the cheesecake
  • enough of whipped cream to decorate
  • enough of Strawberry to decorate
  • enough of edible sugar pearls to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 165 °C 329°F
    For the crust, process the cookies with the butter and the cocoa until you get a dough.
    Pour the previous preparation into a cake mold 25 cm (9 inch) in diameter with waxed paper. Press and compact to crust and bake for 10 minutes.Remove from the oven and cool.
    For the cheesecake, beat the cream cheese with the sugar, add the whipping cream, add the eggs, the melted chocolate and the vanilla essence one ingredient at a time.
    Pour the cheesecake over the chocolate crust. Place over a bain-marie and bake for 1 hour. Remove, cool and refrigerate for two hours.
    Unmold and decorate with whipped cream, strawberries and sugar pearls.

    PRESENTATION

    On a cake stand, decorated with whipped cream, strawberries and sugar pearls.

    TIPS

    For the bain marie, heat enough water and place the cake mold with the cheesecake in a deep bowl. Fill in half with hot water and bake.
