Be sure to try this amazing dessert made with bitter chocolate and caramel. This pie has a crunchy crust of amaranth, a delicious and soft caramel filling and a thick layer of bitter chocolate. Best of all, it is decorated with strawberries which gives a spectacular contrast of flavor.

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 2 cups of amaranth
  • 1 Cup of dark chocolate molten
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter cast
  • 1 Cup of candy candy soft
  • 1/2 Cup of whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter
  • 1/4 of Cup of nut chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of whipping cream hot, for the ganache
  • 1 Cup of dark chocolate for the ganache
  • 1 teaspoonful of cardamom for the ganache
  • 1 Cup of Strawberry to decorate
  • 3 leaves of mint to decorate

    Preparation

    For the crust, in a bowl mix the amaranth with the chocolate and butter, with the help of a spoon form a crust in a pie pan, refrigerate for 10 minutes and reserve.
    Heat your T-fal® Hard Titanium + Frying pan over medium heat, when the red dot (Thermo-spot) is completely red add the caramel sweets and cook until they melt, add the whipping cream, butter and nuts, mix well.
    Pour the previous preparation over the mold and cool 20 minutes.
    Heat the whipping cream, add the bitter chocolate and cardamom. Mix until integrated and let cool for 10 minutes.
    Pour the hook over the candy, spread with the help of a spatula and decorate with strawberries. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set.
    Garnish with mint and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    On a dessert plate a slice accompanied by a glass of milk.

    TIPS

    Add a touch of orange liqueur to the chocolate mixture to give an intense twist to the recipe. You'll love it.
