A delicious chocolate dessert that melts in your mouth; This chocolate truffle cake is to die for. Its smooth texture and its scented taste with whiskey make it a unique recipe that you can not stop trying.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 300 grams bitter chocolate, Turin
  • 150 grams unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons whiskey
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the whites to the point of nougat. Add the sugar until it peaks.
Melt chocolate and butter in a bain marie.
Beat by hand and incorporate with an enveloping movement the whites, the yolks, the chocolate and the butter.
Grease a 30x15 cm refractory. and pour half of the mixture. Bake at 180 ° C for 20 minutes, without drying. Remove from oven and let cool.
Add 3 tablespoons of whiskey to the leftover mixture and add above the first layer previously cooked when it is already cold.
Refrigerate for a day.

PRESENTATION

Before serving sprinkle with a little cocoa or icing sugar.

TIPS

It is important to prepare the dish one day before serving it. Instead of whiskey, Kalhua or Cointreau can be used.
