So that you remember the homemade flavor of a hot chocolate, here we present a recipe for table chocolate flan. Flan is a very simple dessert, with easy ingredients, as you will only need milk, egg, cheese, a little cornstarch and vanilla to make the flan mixture. Ingredients

8 portions
  • 4 splints chocolate, table
  • 1 cup whole milk, 245 g
  • 1 cup double cream cheese, in cubes
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk, 306 ml
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 cup evaporated milk, 245 g
  • 1 cup sugar, for the caramel 200 g
  • enough butter, to grease the mold
  • enough chocolate, grated, for garnish
  • wafers, of cajeta to decorate
  • leaves peppermint, to decorate

Preparation

In a saucepan heat the table chocolate with the milk; keep on heat until the chocolate melts. Then blend together with the double cream cheese, the condensed milk, the eggs, the cornstarch, the vanilla and the evaporated milk. Reservation.
Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
For the caramel, heat the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, little by little it will begin to have a brown color and become liquid, do not stop moving with a wooden spoon; When it's liquid and thick enough, remove from heat.
Grease a baking dish with butter, pour the caramel while still hot; spread all over the mold. Pour the mixture that you blended before, cover with aluminum and cook in a double boiler for 50 minutes at 190 ° C, in the oven. Chill.
Desmolada and decorate with grated table chocolate, wafers with cajeta and mint leaves.

TIPS

You can cook this flan on the stove, just try to cover your mold very well and that it has enough water for cooking. Cool well before unmolding.
