  • 1 cup Double cream cheese, in cubes
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar, for candy
  • enough butter, to grease the mold

In a saucepan, heat the table chocolate with the milk; keep on fire until the chocolate melts. Then blend with the double cream cheese, condensed milk, eggs, cornstarch, vanilla and evaporated milk. Reservation.

For the caramel, heat the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, little by little it will begin to have a brown color and become liquid, do not stop moving with a wooden spoon; When it is sufficiently liquid and thick, remove from heat.
Grease a baking dish with butter, pour the caramel still hot; spread throughout the mold. Pour the mixture you liquefied before, cover with aluminum and cook in a water bath for 50 minutes at 190 ° C, in the oven. Cool
Desmolada and decorate with grated table chocolate, wafers with cajeta and mint leaves.

You can cook this flan on the stove, just try to cover your mold very well and have enough water for cooking. Cool well before unmolding.
