Vanilla Flan with Panela Cheese and Cranberry Jelly

Delicious custard on a fresh and smooth slice of panela cheese, accompanied by an acidic cranberry jelly to make the perfect contrast. You have never tasted a vanilla custard as creamy as this one!

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 250 milliliters Evaporated milk LALA®
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 250 milliliters Half Cream LALA®
  • 1 cup sugar, for the caramel sauce
  • 3/4 bars LALA® butter, for the caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, for the caramel sauce
  • 200 grams Panela cheese LALA®
  • 6 slices cranberry jelly
  • 6 mint leaves, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Blend condensed milk with LALA® Evaporated Milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and LALA® Half Cream until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Pour into flans and bake in a bain-marie for about 40 minutes. Chills and releases.
For the sauce, make a caramel with the sugar over low heat without moving. Add the butter and let it melt. Add the cream to beat and move quickly with a balloon whisk until integrating. Reservation.
Cut medium thick slices of LALA® Panela Cheese and reserve.
For assembly, place a slice of LALA® Panela Cheese on a plate. On top add a slice of blueberry jelly and place the flan. Bathe with caramel sauce and garnish with mint.

PRESENTATION

Serve with caramel sauce and garnish with mint.

TIPS

It is normal that the caramel sauce bubbles when you add the cream to beat, do not stop mixing.
