Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert and for this version, we will prepare it with delicious strawberries. With this tiramisu recipe you will learn how to make the cookies from scratch and use the characteristic ingredients of the dessert, such as mascarpone cheese. Ingredients

8 portions
  • 4 egg whites, for the soletas
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the soletas
  • 4 egg yolks, for the soletas
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the soletas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the soletas
  • 1 cup flour, for the soletas
  • 2 cups strawberry, diced
  • 1/2 cups Licor 43 Spanish liqueur, to macerate strawberries
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 lemon, (zest)
  • enough cocoa, to decorate
  • enough strawberry, cut into sheets to decorate
  • leaves peppermint, to decorate

Preparation

For the soletas, in a bowl beat the egg whites with the sugar, until they are about to nougat. Reservation.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla essence until they change color.
Add the egg whites to the yolks and with the help of a sieve, add the flour; incorporates in an enveloping way. Place on a pastry bag with smooth duya.
Form the soletas on a tray with baking paper and bake at 190 ° C, for 15 minutes. Let cool and reserve.
In a bowl, mace the strawberries with the liquor of 43 for 30 minutes. Reservation.
With the help of a balloon whisk beat the mascarpone cheese, glass sugar, sour cream and lemon zest until incorporated. Reservation.
On a square stainless steel base, place acetate on the walls so that the tiramisu does not stick, place the soletas on the base, then add some cream and strawberries; Repeat the process until the mold is filled and finished with cream. Freeze for 2 hours.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder and decorate with strawberries and mint.

PRESENTATION

On a plate, accompanied by a cup of jasmine tea.

TIPS

Mascarpone cheese is an Italian cheese of a mild flavor that balances very well with desserts, if you can't find it, you can substitute it with cream cheese.
