Green Mango Chutney

When preparing this preserve in its season you will have many benefits because the mango at its point of perfect maturation will acquire a better flavor. In this way you will enjoy it in all seasons.

Ingredients

  • 3 kilos of mango manila green
  • 750 milliliters of Apple vinager
  • 300 grams of raisin
  • 2 spoonfuls of fresh ginger grated
  • 4 cloves of Garlic chopped
  • 1 onion medium, chopped
  • 2 Serrano chiles
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
  • 2 spoonfuls of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups of piloncillo
  • 3 cups of sugar granulated
  • 3 spoonfuls of Orange zest
  • 1 Orange juice cool

    Preparation

    Follow the sterilization instructions of the Express® Pressure Cooker from the jars and lids before and after they are filled.
    In an Express® Pressure Cooker, place all ingredients and mix.
    Close the Express® Pressure Cooker and add the pressure regulator, place it in the stove with a high flame for about 25 minutes or until constant steam comes out, lower the flame to medium and cook for 15 minutes.
    Remove the Express® Pressure Cooker from the heat, let cool, remove the pressure regulator, open the Express® Pressure Cooker, and that's it!
    Package right away in the previously sterilized vials and cover.

    PRESENTATION

    You can accompany this chutney with brie cheese and cookies as a snack.

    TIPS

    You can add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom and substitute serrano chiles for whole piquin chiles.
