Ingredients

2 servings
  • 250 grams of ground beef
  • 2 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 cups of onion finely chopped
  • 2 1/3 spoonfuls of chili powder
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups of canned beans
  • 1/2 Cup of tomato in pieces (of tin)
  • 1/4 of Cup of fresh coriander chopped
  • 4 slices of rustic bread or ciabatta
  • 1/2 Cup of cheddar cheese or grated manchello

    Preparation

    Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and acitrone for 5 minutes.
    Add the ground meat, chili and garlic to the pan and cook for 5-8 minutes or until the meat is well cooked.
    Add the beans and tomato and cook for 15 minutes over low heat. Season with cilantro, salt and pepper.
    Toast bread slices and place meat, and cheese on top of them. The cheese will melt due to the heat of the meat.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve 2 slices of bread on a plate, accompany with salad.

    TIPS

    The picadillo can be made in advance and refrigerated.
