Hojaldritas of Sweet and Spicy Chicken

A delicious sandwich for the holidays, small rolls filled with sweet chicken and a spicy touch.


5 portions
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, Iberia
  • 2 chicken breasts, with bone and skin
  • 1 onion, in large pieces
  • 2 cubes Knorr® Tomato Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons apple vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons English sauce
  • 2 tablespoons habanero sauce, red
  • puff pastry, in 15 small pictures
  • 1 red onion, To accompany
  • 1 habanero pepper, To accompany
  • 1/2 teaspoons oregano, To accompany
  • 1 lemon, To accompany
  • 1 tablespoon honey, To accompany
  • 1 tablespoon apple vinegar, To accompany
  • 1 teaspoon salt, To accompany


Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Grease a baking dish with the margarine and place the pieces of onion on the bottom.
Rub the breasts with the Knorr tomato cubes and the pepper (keep half a tomato knorr cube) and place the breasts on the pieces of onion, cover the refractory with foil and bake for 25 minutes
In a saucepan put to heat the sugar, orange juice, half cubito knorr tomato, ketchup, vinegar, English sauce and habanero sauce, leave on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Remove the breast from the oven and varnish with enough sweet sauce, return it to the oven for 20 minutes more uncovered.
After the time, remove the breast from the oven and, with the help of two forks, crumble the breast; Mix with the remaining sweet sauce and fill in the puff pastry.
To accompany cut the purple onion and habanero pepper in thin strips, mix with the vinegar, salt, lemon juice, honey and oregano
Serve the hojaldritas accompanied by purple onions.


You can place several in a tray and in the center a sauceboat with purple onions.


The breasts varnished with the sweet sauce should be golden brown on the surface. You can fill large puff pastries or chunks and serve them with a cold paste.
