Preparation
In an inn or in a bowl, mix the wheat flour with the salt and the baking powder.
To the previous mixture, add the 3 tablespoons of margarine and mix with the hands until a floury mixture is formed (the flour will turn yellow and as in pelotitas).
Add the 3 eggs, one by one and continue mixing by hand. Then add the water little by little until it forms a very soft dough.
Let the dough rest in a bowl covered with a cloth for about 30 min.
For the assembly of the tequeños. Cut white cheese sticks 1x1 cm wide by 5 cm long.
After 30 minutes of rest of the dough, add flour to the counter and roll it until it is thin (approximately 2mm thick).
Cut strips about 1 cm wide. For the assembly, take a cheese stick and place it on one end of the dough strip, turning the stick until the dough completely covers.
Then we cut the strip and roll the rest of the strip of dough on the stick in a spiral, to cover it completely.
As we prepare them, we reserve them on a plate previously sprinkled with flour.
In a pan with plenty of hot oil, fry the tequenos until golden brown, remove from the heat and drain on absorbent paper.
