Prepare these delicious grilled shrimp and pineapple skewers, marinated in a sauce made with ginger, thyme, soy, sugar and a touch of spiced rum. Ideal for a barbecue with friends. They will fascinate you!

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 onion stems cambray, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoons Great Value® Sugar
  • 1/4 tablespoons Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rum, spiced
  • 1/2 oranges, juice and zest
  • 1 lemon, juice
  • 500 grams medium shrimp, clean, without head and without tail
  • 1 can pineapple in syrup Great Value®
  • 1/4 red onions, in cubes
  • enough skewer stick
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® Canola Oil

Preparation

For the marinade, blend all the ingredients until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Reservation.
Assemble the skewers, alternating the shrimp with the pineapple pieces and the onion in the skewer sticks.
Marina the brochettes with the marinade, about 10 minutes.
Heat the oil in a grill pan or grill, and cook the skewers on both sides about 10 minutes or until they are marked. Garnish with parsley, serve.
