Ingredients

4 portions
  • 6 cans Great Value® tuna in water
  • 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups Extra Special® hearts of palm
  • 3 habanero peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups cream
  • 3 tablespoons old mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 pita breads
  • 8 leaves french lettuce
  • 3 tomatoes, cut into slices

Preparation

In a bowl, combine the tuna with celery, onion, palm hearts, habanero pepper, mayonnaise, cream, mustard and spices. Reservation.
Heat the pita bread a few seconds in the microwave, cut in half and open to form a "sachet".
Fill the bread with a leaf of lettuce, slices of tomato, the tuna mixture.
