Tuna in Salsa de Aji Dulce

For this Christmas, surprise your family and friends with this delicious tuna in sweet pepper sauce. It is a recipe inspired by Italian Christmas cuisine and adapted to Venezuelan cuisine rich and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 tuna loins
  • 500 tomato sauces
  • 3 chili peppers, chili pepper
  • 10 green olives
  • 2 tablespoons flour, to breed tuna
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 glasses Red wine
  • 20 raisins
  • vegetal oil, to fry
  • salt
  • black pepper

Preparation

Season the 4 tuna loins and pass them through the flour for breading. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot and fry for 3 minutes on each side. Place the loins on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
In the same skillet sauté the onion and place the peeled tomato in cubes, next to the sweet aji. Sprinkle with the brown sugar, season with salt and pepper to taste and add the wine.
Place the tuna loins in the sauce, add the olives and raisins. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes over low heat.

PRESENTATION

Serve each tuna loin with a spoonful of its sauce and serve with white rice and ripe slices.
