Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine tamarind concentrate, chipotle pepper, salt, olive oil, lemon juice and pepper. Mix well.
Grease a large rectangular baking dish and place the 6 fish fillets. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
Put the onion cut in julienne on the fillets and pour the tamarind sauce over them.
Bake steaks for 15-20 minutes or until cutting a steak with a fork separates easily.
Serve the steaks in a large platter or individual dishes.
