Juicy lamb ribs seasoned with a mixture of spices from the Middle East and marinated in yogurt, accompanied by a sweet and spicy "sweet spice" sauce. Dare to travel to the other side of the world just by tasting this delicious dish. Ideal for a special occasion.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 kilo of rib of lamb
  • 200 grams of Hunt's ® Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 250 grams of red onion
  • 250 grams of Yogurt natural, without sugar
  • 100 grams of sour cream
  • 40 grams of thyme
  • 5 grams of cumin
  • 15 grams of coriander seed
  • 30 grams of cardamom
  • 10 grams of paprika
  • 10 grams of ground cinnamon
  • 10 grams of black pepper
  • 17 grams of Salt
  • 40 grams of olive oil
  • 30 grams of Butter
  • 1 kilo of tomato
  • 10 grams of garlic
  • 50 grams of raw sugar

    Preparation

    Clean the ribs leaving the bones clean. Season the ribs with 7g of salt and 5g of pepper. Reservation.
    In the food processor or blender add the garlic, onion, tomatoes, cream, yogurt, Hunt's ® Honey BBQ Sauce, paprika, cumin, cardamom, coriander seed, cinnamon powder, thyme, the rest of the pepper and the rest of the salt; Blend until a thick sauce is obtained.
    Marina the ribs for 24 hours.
    Preheats the oven to 200 C °. Remove the ribs from the marinade.
    Varnish the ribs with olive oil, place in a refractory and bake at 160 ° C for 25 minutes
    While the ribs are baked, heat a pot and melt the butter, add the marinade to the ribs and cook for 10 minutes, when the color of the sauce changes to a brown tone add the mashed sugar and cook for 5 more minutes.
    Cut the ribs and serve with the sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    You can accompany with a porcine of white rice or salad. The garnish must be simple so as not to mix so many flavors.

    TIPS

    To clean the ribs you must first separate the bones from the thinnest part of the rib with the knife and then use a resistant thread to finish cleaning them and save time. Tie a knot around each bone, tighten it well and pull hard as shown in the image. You can make a pairing with a semi dry red wine.
