Because crunchy food is always a great option, we present this recipe for a Shrimp & Cheese stuffed Jalapeños, an option for Easter dinner that you will surely love. So that the breading on the stuffed Jalapeños is perfect use Bimbo Classic Bread Crumbs, and if you want the dish to be not too spicy, we recommend using vinegar, since it helps to reduce the spiciness of the chiles.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 6 jalapeno Peppers
  • enough Water, to cook the chiles
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar, to cook the chiles
  • enough salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups shrimp
  • 1 package cream cheese, 190 g
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • enough flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • enough Bimbo ® classic breadcrumbs
  • enough spray oil

Preparation

With a knife, cut the chilies lengthwise, remove the veins and the seeds.
In a small pot heat the water over medium heat, cook the chiles with the vinegar and salt until they soften. Drain and set aside.
For the filling, in a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the onion with the garlic, add the shrimp, the cream cheese, season with salt and pepper, add the parsley. Let cool and set aside.
Fill the jalapeños with the previous preparation and pass through flour, egg and Bimbo® Classic Bread Crumbs.
In a skillet over medium heat cook the jalapeños with a little oil until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve the chiles accompanied by a mixture of lettuce.
