Stuffed Pizza in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 7 grams dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • enough Water
  • enough flour, to extend
  • 1 cup Puree Condimentado Tomato Puree®
  • 1 cup pepperoni
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • enough olive oil, to varnish

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For the dough, add the flour, olive oil, salt, sugar, yeast, and oregano in a bowl. Add little water until you get a homogeneous mass.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rest until it doubles its volume.
On a floured surface, spread the pizza dough with the help of a rolling pin until you get a rectangle of 15x30 cm. Cut diagonal strips from the outside to the inside without getting completely to the center.
Spread the Fuerte® Flavored Tomato Puree over the center of the dough, add the mozzarella cheese and the pepperoni. Close by inserting one by one the strips forming a braid.
Place on a baking sheet and varnish with olive oil. Leave to ferment for 15 minutes.
Bake about 20 minutes or until the dough is cooked. Remove from short oven and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serves on a wooden board, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

TIPS

Flour your table well so that the dough does not stick, and in this way the strips do not break.
