The compote of fruits of the forest is a perfect dessert to eat along with a toast with a little butter. It is a very tasty preparation, which seems like a breakfast in the morning. It is a recipe high in antioxidants and vitamin C.

Ingredients

16 portions
  • 1 cup orange juice, cool
  • 1 cup sugar, granulated
  • 750 grams strawberry, without stem, halved
  • 300 grams blackberry
  • 200 grams blueberry
  • 300 grams raspberry
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice, cool
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt

Preparation

In a large pot over medium heat pour the orange juice, add the sugar and mix until dissolved.
Add the fruit in this order: strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Add the lemon juice and salt; mix and remove from heat. Fill with fruit leaving a space of 2.5 cm and lid.
Follow the sterilization instructions on your Express® Pressure Cooker from the jars and lids before and after they are filled.
If you wish, you can accompany it with vanilla ice cream.

PRESENTATION

For this recipe you will need 2 containers of 3/4 liter.

TIPS

This compote will last up to a year without opening, and already open a week in refrigeration. Used to bathe French bread, waffles, pancakes, hot cakes, etc.
