Ingredients

  • 5 pieces of habanero pepper
  • 2 cups of Pineapple in syrup cut into cubes
  • 1 Cup of pineapple juice
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 1/4 of Cup of White vinegar

    Preparation

    On a comal, roast the chiles until they inflate, remove from the comal and blend with the pineapple in syrup, the pineapple juice, sugar and white vinegar until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
    Heat a pot over medium heat and cook the jam until the liquid evaporates and the jam is formed, remove from cooking, cool and serve in jars to give away as a gift.
