Heat the broth. In a large saucepan, sauté the onion with 100g of butter until soft. Add the rice and stir for a minute with a wooden spoon. Add one-third of the broth and the wine to the saucepan with the rice over medium heat, cover, and cook until the liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Add another third of the broth and stir with the spoon for 10 to 12 minutes.
