Ingredients

3 portions
  • 500 milliliters Water, purified
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour, 3 star
  • brown sugar, or corn syrup to taste
  • 1 star anise

Preparation

We heat 450 ml of water in a small but deep pot and add the star anise.
With the remaining 50 ml of water we will dissolve the 2 tablespoons of rice flour.
When the boil has sprouted in our pot, we pour the dissolved rice flour and stir a little, let it boil again and remove from the heat.
We can serve the atole in cups, if it is for children or adults and we sweeten individually, the same with the baby's bottles.
This atole can be consumed as water for use or to prepare baby's formula.

TIPS

If a day passes and there is leftover atole, you have to discard it and make a fresh one.
