Bean soup

Delicious recipe for bean soup that takes noodle-shaped pasta and a little bacon to give it a different but rich flavor.

  • 3 cups beans, previously cooked
  • 1/2 cups bacon
  • 1/2 cups deli ham
  • 2 tablespoons chicken bullion
  • 1 cup tomatillo, chopped
  • 1/2 cups white onion
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups fideo pasta
  • 5 cups bean broth
  • 3 serrano chiles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Sew the beans and add 3 pieces of fresh tomato, half a white onion, 3 garlic cloves, a few sprigs of coriander and a sprig of epazote to taste.
  • In the blender put 3 fresh tomatoes, 1/4 onion, 2 garlic and cilantro to taste. To this is added a jar of tomato and 5 cups of bean broth and two tablespoons of chicken broth and ground to make a sauce.
  • In a saucepan pour the olive oil with the 1/2 cup of bacon, fry the 2 cups of noodles, brown well and add the 1/2 cup of ham and when it is golden it will stick to the sauce with beans and bean broth.
  • Let it boil for 15 minutes and serve to accompany meats or tacos or simply with toast.
