Ingredients: 12 egg whites; 1/2 cups sugar; 12 egg yolks; 1/2 cups sugar; 1 tablespoon vanilla essence; 1 tablespoon orange zest; 2 cups flour; 1 cup whole milk; 1 cup evaporated milk; 1 cup condensed milk; 1/2 cups amaretto; 2 cups whipping cream; 1/4 cups icing sugar; 1 cup almonds, sliced and toasted, for the filling; 1/2 cups almonds, sliced and toasted, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180°C. For the sponge cake, beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. On the other hand, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until their volume doubles. Add the vanilla and the orange zest.
