If you are a lover of chocolate cake but you like a frosting with different flavors, this Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting will delight you. This rich cake is made of layers of dark chocolate biscuits and cream cheese that combine textures and make this dessert something spectacular. Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of Butter cut into cubes, for the sponge cake
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar for the sponge cake
  • 6 pieces of egg
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk for the sponge cake
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla for the sponge cake
  • 1 1/2 cups of cocoa for the sponge cake
  • 4 1/2 cups of wheat flours for the sponge cake
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking soda for the sponge cake
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder for the sponge cake
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt for the sponge cake
  • 1 Cup of chocolate melted, for the sponge cake
  • 2 cups of bittersweet chocolate melted, for the coverage
  • 3/4 of Cup of whipping cream hot for the covering
  • 4 cups of cream cheese for the frosting
  • 2 cups of powder sugar for the frosting
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla for frosting
  • to taste of Strawberry chocolate covered

    Preparation

    For the cake, beat the butter with the sugar, add the eggs one by one, the milk, the vanilla essence, add the powdered sifted and to finish the melted chocolate, beat until you get a consistent mixture. Pour into 3 cake molds 20 cm in diameter and bake 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool and unmold.
    For the covering, in a bowl mix the melted chocolate with the whipping cream and reserve.
    For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with the icing sugar and the vanilla essence until you get a consistent frosting.
    For the assembly, place a sponge cake and cover with cream cheese bitumen, place another sponge cake and repeat until you get 3 layers. Cover the cake with the rest of the frosting and smooth with the help of a spatula. Form rosettes on the edges, with a jug pour the chocolate coating, place the strawberries, refrigerate for a short time and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorate with strawberries covered in chocolate.

    TIPS

    Place the filling with the help of a sleeve to make it easier to put the layers of your cake and be more uniform.
