Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1/2 cups butter, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups honey, of cane
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 egg, smoothie
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, previously passed through a colander
  • 4 tablespoons Water

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
In a pan heat the butter with sugar, honey and vinegar until it boils, moving constantly to avoid sticking.
Remove from heat and let cool until mixture is warm; Add the lightly beaten egg, stirring constantly to avoid cooking.
Mix the flour with baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt; add to the previous preparation and mix to form a soft dough.
Divide the dough into three parts, wrap in self-adhesive plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Stretch the dough on a floured board, with the help of gingerbread cutters cut the cookies. Place on a previously greased and floured tray and bake for 15 minutes.
For the glaze, mix the icing sugar with the water, go measuring the consistency so that it is firm and not very liquid.
Lists! You can already smell the aroma of these delicious homemade Christmas cookies. Serve them as the main course of the snack.

PRESENTATION

Add a few drops of dye to decorate your cookies as you prefer. You can also use chips, sparks and other sweets to decorate using the glaze as "glue"

TIPS

You can replace cane honey with agave syrup. Use a manga and duya to decorate your cookies. If you do not have these instruments you can make a small hole in a plastic bag to customize your cookies.
