Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups butter, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups honey, of cane

  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
In a saucepan, mix butter, sugar, honey and vinegar until boiling. Stir constantly, remove from heat and let cool until mixture is warm. Stir with the beaten egg.
Combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, salt and stir with the previous mixture to form a soft dough.
Divide the dough into three parts. Give each portion a disc shape. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
On a lightly floured surface, place the dough with a thickness of almost 1cm (¼ inch).
Cut out the dough with a cookie cutter shaped like a gingerbread doll and place them on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown.
