Ingredients

11 portions
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cups Corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Cover a baking sheet with foil; grease the paper. Reservation. Heat the sugar and corn syrup in a large bowl, microwaveable, at high power for 5 minutes; stir them at 3 minutes. Add the peanuts; stir them. Cook in the microwave for 3 to 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
Add butter and vanilla; Stir the butter until it melts completely. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 1 minute. Incorporates baking soda. (The mixture will produce foam.)
Spread the mixture on the baking sheet that you prepared. Let it cool completely. Break it into pieces.
