Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 apples, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 3 tablespoons Splenda
  • 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1/4 cups almond, in slices

Preparation

In a pot, mix apples and water. Wait until they boil, reduce the heat to low and cover for 10 minutes (until the apples are soft). Stir occasionally, and add the almond extract and splenda. Remove from heat and put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425F (220 C).
In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites with a whisk until they are ready for nougat.
With a spatula, wrap the apple mixture with the egg whites until it is stirred (be careful not to lower the whites).
Put the mixture in souffle molds previously greased (can be with PAM).
Cook the souffle for 15 minutes or until it is brown. Sprinkle with almonds before serving.

lo hice ya y no sabe bien y queda bien en el horno esponjó la clara, inflándose y dejando en medio la manzana: dentro de un gran vacío, entonces al sacarlo del horno, ni como poner las almendras, pues estaba sellado, al picarle para introducir las almendras, me di cuenta del vacío y pues por ahí le introduje la almendra fileteada, pero no, no sabe nada rica la clara dura y seca de afuera

sencillo de hacer. vamos a cambiar la clasica receta de pay de manzana.
