Ingredients

  • 250 grams Oaxaca cheese
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cups vegetal oil

Preparation

Clean the pumpkin flowers by removing the toothpick from the center.
Fill each flower with a bit of shredded oaxaca cheese.
Place the egg lightly beaten with 2-3 tablespoons of water and season with salt and pepper.
Place the flour on another flat plate and season with salt and pepper.
In a hot pan the vegetable oil over medium heat, when hot, pass each flower first through the egg, then through the flour and then fry in the oil for 2 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is golden and melted. flower.
