This soup is very rich and is super nutritious because it contains cabbage. Cabbage is one of the best foods you can eat because it is low in calories, but very high in fiber, vitamins, antioxidants and calcium. The cabbage has anti-inflammatory properties, which help detoxify. This recipe is an ideal way to include cabbage in your diet.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 chayote squash no spikes
  • 1 onion girl
  • 2 tablespoons of English sauce
  • 8 cups of chicken soup (or half chicken broth and half water)
  • salt
  • 400 grams of cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Preparation

In a saucepan put olive oil and fry the onion in pieces.
Add chayote in pieces, fry 5 minutes and add the broth of chicken and English sauce. Boil until the vegetables are soft.
Remove the hard stems from the cabbage and slice the leaves into small thin strips. Add half of the cabbage to the pan with the vegetables that are cooking and reserve the rest for the end.
When the vegetables are cooked, blend until a smooth soup is left, return to the pan. Taste the soup and add salt if necessary. Put the rest of the cabbage in strips, cook 5 minutes more and serve hot.

PRESENTATION

It looks pretty as is with the green broth and ls strips of cabbage.

La prepare y quedó muy buena Siempre quiero comer mas berza y me cuesta mucho trabajo ya que a veces sabe muy amarga. Esta sopa quedo deliciosa y no te dabas ni cuenta de que llevaba tanta berza. La recomiendo muchísimo. Le agregue un poco de jugo de limón y quedó muy buena.
