Traditional Horchata

  • 1 cup Rice Flour Three Stars®
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick, in half
  • cinnamon powder, to decorate
  • walnuts, chopped, to decorate

  • Blend the cup of Tres Estrellas® Rice Flour with the milk, sugar and vanilla essence until completely integrated. Booking.
  • Boil the water in a pot and once it has a high bubble, add the liquefied and integrate very well. Later, add the cinnamon stick and keep at temperature until it thickens slightly, for approximately 8 minutes. Once ready, remove the cinnamon from the preparation and reserve the hot horchata.
  • Serve the traditional horchata in a cup and decorate with cinnamon powder and walnuts.
